Volunteer Services
The CSRA Regional Commission Area Agency on Aging (CSRA RC AAA), offers a wide variety of engaging volunteer opportunities for individuals looking to make a positive difference in their communities and in the lives of older adults and people with disabilities. Volunteer services/civic engagement program and outreach activities at CSRA RC AAA are an integral part of the growing need throughout the Nation to create communities where individuals can live an age in place while having a range of options that meet all of their needs throughout their lifespan.
CSRA RC AAA volunteers serve as a critical link to the CSRA communities in Georgia, providing important services such as one-on-one counseling, speaking to community groups and sharing information at community events and health fairs on topics such as Medicare, consumer fraud, health and preventive services and how older adults access programs and services. Additionally, volunteers provide ongoing support to the agency via other administrative and skill-based volunteer opportunities that support agency operations and program implementation.
